Try something new with textiles!

Using wax to mould scraps of silk fabric, fine tissue and threads around wire shapes you will create your own unique decorations! Having first created shapes from fine wires you will build up layers of silk, your own hand decorated tissue paper and warm wax. The surfaces can then be stitched into and gilded to make delicate decorations, gift tags or card motifs. Try out the endless possibilities of this fascinating technique!
