Block Printing Taster (2 Evenings)

Join Textile Printmaker Aidan Liggins to explore block printing techniques on this short course over 2 evening sessions - 18 & 25 March 6:00-8:30pm.

The course will cover the basics and history of block printing, looking at various tools and materials.
Participants will print a repeating pattern ideal for wallpapers and interior fabrics, with a focus on creating and printing abstract patterns. You'll also try printing on different surfaces.

This a perfect introduction to block printing for complete beginners and also great for those who might have some lino printing experience previously who are looking to develop repeating patterns.
