Introduction to Throwing - 4 Week Course

This four week evening course will run on Wednesdays 6:00-8:30pm, 5 -26 June.

Explore the art of ceramic throwing on the wheel on this four-session course. You will be guided through the process and techniques of creating a pot on the wheel, with three different types of pottery wheels to practice on.

You will experiment with trimming, the process of cutting away excess clay to create a smoother, cleaner finish, and with foot rings and handles to take your pieces to the next level. At the end of the course, you can decorate your favourite pieces which will be fired and glazed in our ceramic studio. Pieces will be ready to collect three weeks from the end of the course.
