Caffenol Film Processing

During this taster session, you will explore what film processing is all about and how we can practice it more sustainably. With a focus on using caffenol developer (instant coffee), you will leave with a DIY home brew recipe that you can experiment with again at home or in the darkroom. You will gain experience of how to process your own roll of film, an understanding of how the chemicals react inside the developer tub and touch on the different effects of the development process.
This workshop is an excellent precursor to one of our darkroom printing workshops. Class sizes are kept small to allow for a more one-to-one experience with your teaching artist. This allows you more focused time to spend on developing your skills.
