Mono-Screen Printing: Abstract Compositions

Participants will explore methods of applying colour to screens using a variety of tools and brushes to build up textural, painterly compositions. Ellie Way will guide you through the whole process of screen-printing and demonstrate different ways to achieve painterly marks, textural effects and colour placement with hand-cut stencils. This is an experimental, intuitive approach to screen-printing which offers exciting and interesting results without the need to pre-plan or design artwork. Participants will leave with a small collection of unique, abstract screen-prints to take home.
